"I had a serious ear pain some months back. it was treated with eardrop and some medications. right now I am having serious ear pain. this time on one ear. the ear seems like it has closed and I can hardly hear clearly with it. I visited the doctor this morning and she said she might refer me to ENT. I need ur advise "

    so sorry ant that. any ear discharge any fever. How long 've this being happening. I think the doctor is very right. seeing an ENT specialist might just be the best thing for now. since you said it'd been happening for long. Then taking analgesic for now may ease the pain for now

    no fever and no discharge sir. the previous one came with discharges for both ears. that case was as a result of using ear phone. and it was treated. y is it coming back on one ear @ this time?

    so sorry abt that. we could be looking at a case of a chronic otitis media. an antibiotics and analgesics would do but to know the right antibiotics to be used the ENT surgeon/specialist could want to examine you thoroughly. thank you for using kangpe
