hi, please. I have been diagnosed of having hepatitis B since 2008. please, I want to know if it can be cured completely from my body. if not, what kind of health style do I need to live on?

Good morning. Hepatitis B isn't curable but one can recover fully. To attain a healthy lifestyle, practise safe sex if you are sexually active, tell your partner to get tested and do not share sharps/needles.

Now, since you've said hepatitis B isn't curable, it then means I will be forever tested positive of the Virus, right? PLEASE, I request to know of what you mean by one can fully recover from it

Hello. It has vaccines which prevents disease, but once infected, there's always a trace of the virus so you will always be tested positive and be a carrier. After treatment, one can fully recover from the symptoms of the disease. Hope you are clear now.

Yes, am very much enlightened now. Though, the virus that's in the body, will it lead to another deterioration or a rejuvenation of the symptoms after some time?

Hello. As long as you live a healthy lifestyle and you were treated initially, you should be fine. But always report any serious concern to your doctor.

Good morning. You can take Paracetamol for the aches, rest all you can and ensure you eat and drink enough. Do not use any other drug except prescribed by your doctor.
