Goodmorning. What do you mean by mild stroke? If he had stroke and has fully recovered then that isn't a mild stroke but if he is still incapacitated you should take him to the hospital to have physiotherapy. If he is hypertensive, ensure he is on medications to control his blood pressure, if he's diabetic ensure he takes his medications. He can eat normal food and fruits but if any of the above is present then he should minimize salt intake if hypertensive and eat more vegetables and protein if diabetic. Take care

You should see a neurologist and a therapist to help with the speech and physiotherapist for the leg. And also ensure he take his antihypertensives to prevent a repeat stroke.
