Hello sir. yes this is quite possible.there are a few strategies available.the cheapest is a process whereby the man is placed on medications for a while till his viral load is undetectable.when this is confirmed, unprotected sex is timed only during her ovulation period or more extended fertile period. at other times, they will have to use condom.Another strategy is where assisted reproductive techniques like IvF is used.Ofcourse this is more expensive.

Please I would like to know more about HIV virus, does it mean that during ovulation a woman can't catch the infection so easily. I also here about pre-exposure prophylaxis does it work? and please how. How can one know when the viral load is undecteable.

HELLO SIR,the womna can still catch the infection at anytime in her cycle.the reason why its suggested you have UNPROTECTED SEX only during her ovulation is to reduce her overall chance of catching it.imaging having unprotected sex every other day for a month as against only on her ovulation day.thats why I said on other days, you use a condom. Secondly the man has to have blood tests once every month to check his viral load. Once he has had 6 consecutive months of low viral load, then the couple can start having unprotected sex during her ovulation period. TO futher reduce the transmission chance, some practioners will out the partner on Post exposure prophylaxis.

Please is it too bad for a woman to give birth in her late 30's when actually do a woman's mensuration stop if she doesn't have any health problems

hello sir...on the average a woman stops menstruation around 48(45-55) years of age..some still continue rarely into their late 60s..but the average age is 48years. Definitely the older a woman gets the more concerned we are about women and pregnancy.Above 35 a woman is at more risk of things like down syndrome babies, high blood pressure in pregnancy, eclampsia, difficulty getting pregnant etc...however this is only a slightly greater risk compared to the normal population below 35years and this should not be a reason why a woman above 35 not to try for babies. Many many many do very well.

Hi...just to correct my last answer. average menopause age is 51. & some women menstruate into their late 50s not 60s. With the help of the PEP...not would be close to 0%...If no zero percent...that's why all the measures are put in place. 1.Unprotectd Sex for pregnancy only during ovulation. And all other times condom use. 2. the man must have an undetectable viral load for at least 6 consecutive months before try unprotected sex during ovulation period. ...these measures reduce the chances to close to impossible.but as a doctor I won't say it's 0% for sure.
