"Hello,My wife have not been able to conceive after our 8yrs old daughter, a year ago after taking some medication from a trado medical she conceived but unfortunately we had a still birth.5months on few days before her flow she always feel pregnancy symptoms and before u know it she gets sharp pain and flow starts .so frustrating help pls."

    Hello, sorry about that. Have both of you been to see a gynaecologist concerning this? A lot of changes can occur in 8 years.

    Some woman may experience pains along with their flow which is normal. However if she is having pains independent of her flow, she may be having a pelvic inflammatory disease. She can do a pelvic scan to be sure.

    It is possible, but that is mere speculation except there is a test to prove it.

    l think ur answers have put me in a better position on what to do next because l really wanted to have a permanent solution to this our problem but doctors l have been consulting have not categorically told me d tests l need to undertake ,lasty beside this pelvic scan do l need another test because l want to do all the required tests.for me no more speculations, thanks.

    The ideal thing is to be managed by a gynecologist. Both of you need to find time and see one, as neither party can produce a pregnancy independent of the other's input. After this, the tests needed will be determined, both the man and woman may need to do tests. For the man a seminal fluid analysis may be needed. A scan will be necessary for the woman, if it is normal she may need to do a hormone profile.
