hello, sorry about this but it can be very difficult to tackle as it has a very high recurrence rate. However,it has no effects on your general well being asides the awful way they look. For how long have you been dealing with this?

It occurs mainly in people with curly , because the curl of the means that the sharp pointed end of a recently shaved comes out from the skin and re-enters the skin close by causing a foreign body inflammatory reaction.Research has also shown that use of unsterilized razors or blunt clippers also contribute to this.A good way to tackle this is to allow the hair to grow, apply warm towel to the area to soothe inflammation, application of cortisone cream aftee shaving can also help. Chronic folliculitis ultimately leads to development of keloid-like plaques(Acne keloidalis nuchae). This is usually very difficult to tackle.it may require injection of steroid into the lesions, use of antibiotics such as mupirocin, steroid creams etc.At this stage, seeing a skin expert(A dermatologist) is best for you.

This isnt bad.i have seen worse of it.its still at pseudofolliculitis stage. No matter what you use without following my initial advice of allowing your hair to grow etc,it will always re-occur.meanwhile,send a mail to findadoctor@kangpe.com to see a dermatologist.
