Good morning. Some STIs require blood or urine test samples. You you want to do the complete STI panel then the appropriate quantity of samples would be collected. Does this answer your question?

I guess that means I would have to submit a urine and blood sample, yes? Is it possible to do this at any hospital? Also when is one eligible for a cervical cancer vaccine? I had a pap smear done about 2 years ago and I didnt have any hpv (I think that's what it is called?) so can i just get vaccinated and never have to worry about it?

Hello. At your age, it's still too early to worry about cervical cancer. Besides the vaccine is not readily available in Nigeria. Do you care to tell me why you are concerned about it? Did you contract any STI or are you at risk of doing so?

I haven't had any STIs I'm aware of. I have had a UTI and yeast infection before. I'm a bit of hypochondriac but then I'm also a sexually active woman who hasn't done any STI test in about 2 years.

Ok. I understand you better now. Have you been having protected sex in the 2yrs you have been active?

Ok. Yes you can get the tests done at a good lab close to you for convenience. You can also have one done at the hospital. You have to be careful about sex. Use condoms all the time if you have to. It only takes one instance to get infected. Take care
