Question Asked:

"Good day. I've been having issues with my hair, it is receding at the from edges. I initially thought it's maybe baldness setting in but the recess is just on one part. Is this normal? if it's not what could be the cause nd how can I remedy this problem."

Hello. Have you noticed any dryness or skin rash? Any use of a new hair product? Sometimes taenia infections can cause such asymmetrical hair loss.

No, no rash. Naturally, I have a dry skin. I started noticing this like 2 years ago. Though it got really worse this year.

Ok then. Male pattern hair loss can also be asymmetrical and usually it is herediatry. There is nothing much that can be done if it is hereditary. Sometimes stress too can cause this. All the best

So medically this is normal, I shouldn't be alarmed? cuz some people tell me it might be lack of certain nutrients.

You can include multuvitamin supplements if it might help. Otherwise it is hereditary and you need not be worried. Take care

Thanks doc. I also have this bruise and subsequent pain when passing out stool. I've started taking more water and fruits to prevent this in the future. However, the pain is severe at the moment, what can I do or take to make it subside? the bruise seems not to be healing.

Hello. You need to add more fibre to your diet. Examples inlcude carrots, cabbage and pawpaw, also whole grains foods. Take about 2-3L of water daily. For the pain you can take analgesics. Take care
