Hello sir, please how long is that.if more than 2 weeks, then you should see your doctor to run some stool test If less you can try some imodium 2 stat and then one per loose stool.the two drugs above are not exactly for diarrhoea. Flagyl is best used for clostridium difficle diarrhoea and not just any diarrhoea. But works atimes

You welcome...hepatitis b does cause symptoms like flulike symptoms, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, tummy pain, yellowing of eyes or skin and these symptoms within a few weeks to months. especially if you only just got this hepatitis is infection.depending on When you were infected(if you know),....you can either wait for your body to fight the infection if you've only had it for a few weeks to months ....But if you've had it more than 6months then you'd need antiviral prescribed by a gastroenterologist after running tests

it's possible the viral levels are not at a level where treatment is needed. Are you seeing a specialist Gastroenterologist.if not ,maybe ,you.should see one instead.

Yes, i av been on regular medical checks since 2014 with series pf test every 3 months and up till now i have not been prescribed any drug.Just to be clear if that is not the reason for the excessive stooling

I don't think. It should still be causing stools after over 2 years of diagnosis...unfortunately,other tests like HIV and the stool itself needs to be looked at...you may even need a camera up your anus if those come back clear especially if there's constipation or blood at any time of this.

You welcome, your doctor may also consider a coeliac disease screen to see if it may be related to certain types of foods containing gluten....flour, bread, biscuits, rye etc... All the best and good luck.
