"hello, I have been having a chest pain, severe headache n fever, and I have treated malaria with coartem as well as arthequin, I also took an antibiotic (amoksiklav for 7 days) but still the headache and fever persists but reduced anyway. what should I do? "

    Hello, sorry about that. did a Dr prescribe the antibiotics or you just went to store and bought of your own accord? are you coughing? did you do any test? is the chest pain worse on breathing? are you producing phlegm? you might have a chest infection. give answers to the questions I raised and let's work out what's happening.

    a pharmacist administered the antibiotics... i cough a times but that's not really serious. I have also been diagnosed of otitis media about 1yr 6months ago, but that has been treated... The funny part of the whole thing is that wen I'm not having the chest pain the headache worsens...

    a pharmacist shouldn't be prescribing antibiotics though.however, you have taken it and your symptoms are still there so I suggest you go for test in hosp including chest xray if the doctor deem it fit after examining you.cheers
