Good morning Madam. Sorry about that. But you should get a pregnancy test done first to rule it out as a possible cause. Take care

yes it was done at the lab........a week ago, even before the test I was quite sure I wasn't pregnant because I have been having a protected sex since I gave birth

Ok. You may be experiencing this because of interplay of hormones associated with pregnancy and Breastfeeding. My advice would be to give it a little more time to normalize. If you don't see your period in the next month, you should see a gynecologist to do your hormonal profile and treat as per cause. For now make sure to eat healthy with lots of fruits and vegetables and also plenty of water. Try not to be stressed or anxious. Take care

Yes it is normal to see your menstrual period of different days of the month. What you have to pay attention to is your menstrual cycle length which is the no of days between the first day of your last menstrual period and the first day of your next menstrual period. Most people have between 24-28days. But you can be shorter or longer.
