Good morning. This may be normal if you are just starting to see your period. Sometimes you can skip months but it usually normalizes within the first year. If this is not the case, you need to be investigated to find out cause which can range from infections to stress, hormonal imbalances, contraception etc. This is where a gynecologist comes in.

Thank you, it was helpful. But does that mean I might have contacted a disease or an infection? And if so, what kind of infection are we talking about. Because I'm so scared, and I don't want it to be terminal or fatal. I just want to know and be sure.

Hello. I didn't say you have an infection. I'm just listing the conditions that can affect you menstrual period. I can't say for sure what the cause is. Which is why you need to be evaluated physically by a doctor. You would run some tests to aid diagnosis. It's nothing fatal or terminal so you don't have to be scared. Take care
