Hello Mogert, You really have been through a lot, sorry about it. I need to get you clearly, so I will ask you some questions. All these things that you mentioned, are they before, during or after your menses? Do you notice any abdominal swelling? Is your menses regular? If yes, when last did you see it and when are you expecting the next one? When did you start experiencing the painful urination? How many times do you urinate per day since this has started? I will await your reply

I always have PMS for a week prior to my menses....then I start experiencing all this during my menses....yes I notice abdominal swelling usually on the second day of my period...no my menses is not regular...I saw my last on the 23rd of january...expecting the next one on the 21st of February I have been experiencing this painful urination for 3months now....I don't urinate frequently....it depends on how much liquid I consume....sometimes just thrice a day

Sorry once again. I just want to be sure. It looks like a case of PMS really because of the myriad of symptoms you have before seeing your menses. I'm sorry you have to go through all these. The treatment of the condition is symptomatic meaning, we treat the symptoms to make you better at least, to go about your daily activities. Try some analgesic and antispasmodic, let's see how you will do. Tab Buscopan 2 tablets twice daily, tab paracetamol 2 tablets 3 times daily, tab diclofenac 50mg 2 times daily (don't use if you have ulcer or use with food). The heavy and clotted bleeding with the irregular menses can be due to a uterine problem. You can do an abdominopelvic scan to rule out fibroid and other uterine lesions. Most importantly you need the attention of a Gynaecologist. Hope I'm clear?

Depends on where you are. Federal Medical Centers, teaching hospitals have good gynaecologists that can help. If you have anyone around you, just go there and request for the attention of one. We can also help here at Kangpe if you send your name, location and phone number to findadoctor@kangpe.com

Good morning doctor...uhmm please you didnt really say anything concerning the yeast infections....they come out in large quantity....n most times wit a tint of blood...other times with watery discharge that stains my underwear

Good morning, That's not likely yeast infection. It might be a pelvic inflammatory disease. Which should be treated with antibiotics. You however need to have a High vagina swab test done to be sure of the organism and the drug that can kill it. Your partner too should be treated in this case. In all, seeing a gynaecologist will take care of everything once and for all.
