Good morning. Sorry about your daughter? Since it's a viral infection, which is quite common in children, mostly what you can do is symptomatic treatment. These viral illnesses are usually self limiting. Yes give her multivite Syrup to help boost her Immunity. Glad to know her rashes have resolved. Which eye drop did you use for her?

elisca chloramphenicol 0.5%. it's difficult administering it. i was told a child in her class had smallpox. probably that's what the rashes was. can the eye infection be as a result of the rashes/small pox?

Ok. The eye drop will do. I highly doubt that this is a case of small pox because the illness has been eradicated in Nigeria. This is merely a case of viral skin infection. Are your daughter's eyes red? Usually ocular manifestations supercedes the rashes but these two symptoms may still be connected. Please have a pediatrician examine her. Best wishes

Ok then. This is likely a viral conjunctivitis. It's usually communicable which is why you caught it. Please let her see the pediatrician today. Take care
