Mesterolone is indicated in the treatment of testosterone deficiency or male infertility associated with malfunction of the hypothalamus, pituitary or testicles. The side effects includes, persistent erection, headache, depression or anxiety, changes in sexual desire, oily skin andacne, weakness, swollen ankles, increased breast size in men, and either increased hair growth or hair loss.
Use of streptomycin include; Moderate to severe susceptible infections, including plague, tularemia, endocarditis. Second-line therapy for gram-negative bacillary bacteremia, meningitis, pneumonia, brucellosis, granuloma inguinale, chancroid, UTIs.
Side effect include; Ototoxicity (eg, cochlear and vestibular), paresthesias, rash, fever, urticaria, angioneurotic edema, eosinophilia, dermatitis, anaphylaxis, azotemia, blood dyscrasias, hemolytic anemia, muscle weakness, amblyopia; rare: nephrotoxicity.
