Morning. Staphylococcus aureus is just one of the bacteria that can be found in the body system normally. So if you have your test sample collected in a wrong way it can get contaminated giving a false positive result. You can send in the symptoms you are having if there is any but if there is none then you may not have any infection. Cheers

Please what test did you do that diagnosed you of "staph infection"? Infertility doesn't mean you have staph infection. How long have you being trying to conceive? You should do a vaginal swab MCS to make a proper diagnosis of the cause of the discharge. This investigation should be done at a tertiary health care centre or a standard laboratory. Also, ensure your husband does a urethral swab, urinalysis and urine mcs too because if he also has an infection he needs to get treated to. The boil you have around your private part, could be from the shaving technique you use, avoid shaving too clean, you should avoid using a shaving stick twice and you should get a good after shave to apply after shaving.

i did a Viginal swab test which took three days to get the result and after treatment i will wait for one month before going for another test and i will be seeing yhe same staph again.and for the shaving i hardly shave and wen i do i dont shave to the last i still have some hair remaming.

What are the drugs prescribe for the treatment? Like I mentioned in my previous reply, please have this vaginal swab done in a tertiary health care centre with a standard laboratory and laboratory technician because if the sample is not collected appropriately, the staphylococcus aureus which can normally be on the skin can contaminated the sample collected which will now be giving a false positive result for the vaginal swab

Have you had an abortion in the past? You should see a gynaecologist and have a pelvic ultrasound and also hormonal assay because hormonal imbalance can cause this.
