Hello madam, sorry for your loss. no miscarriage shouldn't change your cycle. the bleeding you saw 4weeks later was it like your normal period? if it did, how is the most recent? one can bleed for long time after miscarriage especially if it's incomplete. have you had a scan to confirm it is complete?

madam like I said prior, miscarriage shouldn't alter your menses.the commonest cause of bleeding weeks after miscarriage is either an infection or retained product. was your scan a transvaginal scan? I will advice get a repeat scan, preferably a transvaginal scan as well as get a doctor to do a speculum examination and take swabs in the process.this should give some answers.

My first period after the miscarriage was like normal period bleeding though slightly heavier and it lasted fr 5days. This present bleeding is lighter than the first. Ok Thanks for ur advice. I would do just that. I have another question. Is it advisable to take chloroquine during early pregnancy? Because I had malaria during my pregnancy and the doctor that attended to me during my antenatal prescribed it for me and said it's safe fr early pregnancies.

ok. I naturally react to choloroquine except when taken with piriton. I took the choloroquine a night before the miscarriage. Sincerely when the whole thing occurred I blamed the chloroquine. please apart frm chloroquine, what other antimalarial drugs are safe fr pregnant women

chloroquine with or without proguanil is the best option for for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. after 12weeks mefloquine can be used and the options increase in 3rd trimester. the truth is that it is difficult to point a finger at the cause of a first trimester miscarriage. so most times genetic abnormality is blamed.
