Question Asked:

"Hello doctor, I've been feeling this pain in my buttocks whenever I sit and try to stand up, since November. can u prescribe any medication? coz I've not been using anything yet, wanted it to heal by itself but now there's no difference, I only noticed that I didn't have frequent bowel passage the last time I had my period, bcoz I usually purge during my period but this time I didn't. could it be constipation? I'm still a teenager & I'm scared"

Hello this will depend on what is responsible for the pain.did you have constipation or pass hard stool before this started? if so the it might be a tear in your anus. the way to know for sure is for it to be examined. do you ever see blood when you go to toilet or have pain during and after toilet? I will advice you see a doctor for examination. cheers

No I didn't experience any of the symptoms you mentioned. I could vividly remembered I strained in the toilet but I didn't feel any pain nor blood. when I got to work and sat for hours, I couldn't stand up. That's where I got concerned. Thanks for your quick response.
