Goodmorning ma. Madam, you may be having VAGINAL CANDIDIASIS. do you notice any white thick discharge? Does your discharge smell? If there's no smell, please get CANESTEN CREAM and apply it twice a day but if not, please go to a hospital and have a HIGH VAGINAL SWAB DONE. CHEERS

I also have this burning sensation as well, is it still what you think it is?

Does the burning sensation occur when you urinate? Or does it occur after the itching? If it occurs after the itching, its most likely because you have itched the vulva so much that it becomes sore. Pouring water in that region or trying to urinate definitely will give burning sensations due to the already sore areas. Please get the cream as advised and am sure you'd be fine ma. Please, get back to me if you still have any questions. The cream should be used for 10-14days

I hope it's not infectious as I had sex with my husband while experiencing this

Its not infectious ma. However, during the period of treatment, its best to abstain from sex. Also, each panty used during the treatment maybe either discarded or soaked in hot water and spread in direct sunlight after use. Also, to prevent recurrence, avoid excessive use of tights esp nylon ones, avoid wearing nylon pants, avoid aggressively washing the vagina with medicated soap, avoid use of vaginal washes and after urinating or defecating always clean up with toilet paper. Cheers
