For the selenium,Taking doses above 400 mcg can increase the risk of developing selenium toxicity. Taking lower doses long-term can increase the risk of developing diabetes. High doses of selenium can cause significant side effects including nausea, vomiting, nail changes, loss of energy(you see where your weakness comes from), and irritability.
I will advice you stop taking the drug.once you eat enough fruits,your immunity is bound to improve unless you have immunosuppressive diseases such as HIV,you abuse steroids,diabetes etc.
