Goodmorning, the result shows that you are hepatitis B positive like you said but one of the important things from the result is that you are highly infectious from the positive E antigen. You should stop sexual or any cause of body fluid exchange with anybody at this point. You will need to do an abdominal ultrasound to see the architectural make up of your liver. See an gastroenterlogist immediately to commence treatment. Take care

I have seen a gastronentrologist and he recommended a couple of tests which i took. Hepatisis B profile and liver function tests. Apparently my ALT level was 12 and my viral load was low. The doctor said I wont need treatment and I might just come for a follow-up consultation in 6 months to monitor the disease. I heard of this drug online that has produced tremendous results in curing/clearing Hep. B infection. its called Hepantivir and it has Securinine as its main ingredients. what do you think are the chances of these drugs helping to clear the virus? is there a possibility that I could test negative to the Hep. Surface antigen test after using it? thanks

Goodevening. The body immune system can clear the infection that is why you were asked to come back for a follow up after 6 months. So if the infection is still present you can then be started on medications. Take care

The virus is currently at its chronic phase. The immunity failed to conquer the virus when it was at its acute phase. But my immune system has since grown stronger and has been able to keep the virus under control. This is the reason why the virus is not duplicating. The doctor asked me to come bk because the virus is not currently harming my body and my liver is in good state. so for now, he thinks observation will do. I jst wanted your opinion on the medication to know my chances of clearing the virus is possible with this drug since I was told that when the disease gets to the chronic phase, it remains with the host for life and can only be managed with the help of antivirals

The drug you mentioned is a new drug used in treatment of hepatitis virus although I cannot guarantee it totally clearing the virus but you should wait until your next follow up before starting the drug. Take care
