Question Asked:

"I just had an ovarian cystectomy for ovarian cyst and endometriosis. before that I was placed on subcutaneous zoladex injection for 3months which sized my period. I had a 10.6mg dose after surgery. What are my chances of giving birth in future. Also, when will I see my monthly flow again. Will I still be able to bear a child considering the fact that I had endometriosis and can it be cured completely? Attached is my MRI scan result. "

Morning. When was the surgery done? You can still conceive since your ovaries are still intact and not removed. The endometriosis too cannot affect your conception since it only an ablation of the endometriosis that was most likely done. Cheers

Sure you will still see your period. Your hormonal levels will return to normal soon with your cycle resuming back.

There are no side effect that needs to be watched out for. You should avoid injudicious use of an hormonal drug if not prescribed by a doctor. You should present to your doctor whenever you have any complaint. Cheers
