Hello, so sorry about the pain you feel.what do you do for job? do you engage in any contact sports? any recent fall? what pain killers are you on? at your age the commonest cause will be trauma or strain. provide answers to my questions above and let's see if it will shed more lights. cheers

thanks doctor just as a normal youth I play football which I have not played for about 7 months now because am on my industrial training. BT even those times I was playing the does not come every time I know I didn't fall on that leg but this questions you just asked where also asked by the doctor I met before she asked me to go for the xray, which she confirmed that my bones where very OK. She prescribe tab ARTHROCARE although I have not taken it and IBUPROFEN which I took

ok thanks for answering, use the medication she prescribed. try some professional massage or physiotherapy, it might just be muscles or ligament strain. also it will be nice for you to have your calcium, phosphate and potassium levels checked. but try the physiotherapy, alot of times it gets things back on the right track

the pain comes as shock on that region. If its a fall, why is it affecting my keen now after like a year+

get those electrolytes I talked about checked out and also get physiotherapy. sometimes people end up with an MRI scan before the exact cause of their pain is established. for now just one step at a time, painkillers, physiotherapy and electrolyte check.
