Good morning. Well child birth could be responsible for some of the changes you noticed. In addition, as we age, some of the tissues in the body become lax and this can also be felt in your vagina as you described it. If you are really worried about it, see a gynaecologist, just to be sure all is well. Cheers.

Doctor, everything was still OK, up until this year, when it all fell apart, giving the impression that I have been promiscuous, which I wasn't. I thought even as I don't have sex, it should be intact. I am really bothered, it makes me loose my self esteem as a woman,

I quite understand you madam. But at the age of 39, this is not a strange thing. Your partner or husband needs to understands this, you're no longer the teenager or under 30 lady again. But like I mentioned earlier, you may see a gynaecologist just to be sure all is well. Cheers

Please someone should please answer me, guess it was suppose to be unlimited question. My follow- up question hasn't been answered

You have been answered madam. For emphasis sake, I said the laxity of your private part may be explained by your age. At 39, some of the tissues in your body are already getting lax. Also mentioned that your husband should understand this. To be certain though that all is well, you should see a gynaecologist for examination. Do have a lovely day.

Good afternoon Doctor my 17year old daughter's menstration is too heavy. even on the 5th day its still very heavy, even to the extent of getting stained. She started menstruating very early at 10years old, I have taken to hospital, they said it will normalise but it hasn't. I felt 7years is a long time ones' body to get adjusted to a thing. she also has menstral pain. Plz what could be the cause and what can be done?
    Dr. Babalola I answered:

Good afternoon madam. Yes, usually by 7 years after the menache one would expects that he menstruation normalises. That said, some people naturally have heavy flow. I will still ask you to let's watch her for another two to three years. However, if she's having symptoms of excessive blood loss like dizziness and fainting attacks, I will advise you take her back to the hospital for evaluation. She may benefits from an ultra sound scan, and hormonal profile. All these, should be after a doctor has examined her again. Cheers

Thanks Doc. then secondly, sorry to bother you. I have 4 some years now being suffering from fungi infection that affects my nail& ear at some point. My finger nails are my major concern now can my nails ever return to normal, it is darkened, detached from the skin, just the root holding it in place. Currently I am on fluconazole, ciprotab, vit.c( imported),& calcium (imported)

Fungal infection, especially of the nail can be very difficult to treat. To have the best outcome, we usually advise on doing a culture test on the nail scraping. This will help to confirm the exact fungus involved and the appropriate antifungal that would be needed. Depending on the level of the nail damage, you may or may not regain your normal nail architecture.

Sorry, I can not see any picture of the nail. But like I said earlier, the stage of the infection the degree of nail affectation will determine if the normal nail structure can be gotten.
