"I am currently experiencing sharp pains in my chest whenever I take deep breaths. This situation developed recently and I am not bronchitic neither am I asthmatic. The pain has moved from the initial location which was the upper part of my chest to the lower part.. What is wrong and what can I do?"

    GoodAfternoon, sorry about that. Which side of the chest are you having the pain? Are you hypertensive? Are you coughing? Is the pain refereed to any other part of your body like the shoulder? You might be having an inflammation of the lining of the lungs (Pleurisy) and this could result from infection like pneumonia. You should go to a hospital and have chest Xray done. You can take Tab Ibuprofen - 200mg twice daily to relieve the pain before you have the tests done. Take care
