Good evening. It's always best to lose weight naturally thru diet modification and exercise. It's not advisable to use pills to lose weight. Though there are a lot out there but doctors will generally recommend you to modify your diet by eating more of vegetables and fruits and less of fat. Add also consistent exercise.

Eating less and exercise are the basics of weight loss that lasts and works well if done consistently. You have to find time to exercise well maybe weekends, early mornings, do brisk walk, use the bus, use the stairs instead of elevators etc and register in a gym. Dieting doesn't mean not eating, you have to fill your stomach with high fibres like vegetables and then take little quantity of meal but avoid fatty meals, late night meal, alcohol and cigarettes. If you considering using pills, you still need to modify your diet and exercise while taking the drugs. A good example is Orlistat. Prescribed by a doctor after first checking if you qualify for it. Not everyone can use it. Side effects include abdominal cramping, diarrhoea, passing gas and oily stool. The ache you are having may be a result of not eating well. You must eat enough and only gradually reduce the quantity as you get used to it. Do not starve yourself. Do you have any history of Diabetes or High blood pressure? How old are you? What's the nature of your job? How many do you weigh? Let's start from there and see how we can tailor a weight reduction pattern to suit you.

In that case you don't have any underlying medical condition. If you can make a schedule of what you consume in a week and reflect, then stroke out the ones you would have been able to do without and then start again the next week. Until you finally achieve a low fat diet pattern. Remember to eat to your fill only when you are hungry and eating more vegetables and fruits can fill you up easily. Use a measuring tape to take your belly circumference every week to note any progress. It you can, enrol in a fitness studio and do work outs every evening or as your time can permit. It has to be done steadily and with discipline because losing weight is far more difficult than gaining weight. Please eat to your fill but only when you are hungry to avoid the pains you having. If after 6 months you don't find any noticeable change, you can see a physician to possibly place you on a medication to assist your already established pattern. I do hope you get your wish soon.

You can check out for cabbages, lettuce, fresh spinach, garden egg, carrot, beans, water melon, oranges, mangoes, apples, potatoes, brown rice, corn, mushroom, beans. The listed here are common in mist European countries I know so am sure they will be available in Russia. Even if they aren't available, you can get the ones there. Use olive oil even for your salads. Aside the heartburn do you occasionally have reflux or ulcer? Your weight could be a predisposing factor but there might be an underlying cause like gastroesophageal reflux or related to your diet. Avoid food that aggravates it, don't eat close to bed time, don't wait to be so hungry before eating, don't lie immediately after eating and most importantly avoid alcohol. On a different note, how's Russia? Glad you using the app from there. And thanks for the compliment.

Hello. Good morning. Gaviscon is good. All in all, you can still see a doctor to do a check up to be sure all is okay. And continue with your regime. Do have a beautiful week.

ok.thanks. Question for a frnd. He brushes eveyday. morin, afternoon n night. but there is still mouth odour also, how can someone get rid of shaving bumps? despite always using damatol.
    Dr. Amen O answered:
Good morning. The commonest cause of mouth odor is accumulation of plaque and calculus in the teeth and other hard structures in the mouth. Because these become adherent over time, they cannot be removed by simple brushing. Therefore the need to visit the dentist at least 2ce a year for a procedure called scaling and polishing. It's recommended to brush 2ce a day morning after breakfast and last thing before bed at night. But your friend needs to go for scaling and polishing. After that is done, if there's any other underlying cause of the bad breath like decayed tooth, it will be treated. Also know that there are medical causes of bad breath like systemic illness e.g Diabetes, liver and kidney diseases, lung diseases, esophageal reflux disease etc. It's after the event of ruling out dental causes and there's persistent mouth odor that such patient will be sent for medical evaluation. Another common cause is psychological. Even after dental and medical causes are ruled out, some still have it persistently even though there's no underlying problem. In such cases, the patient should see a psychologist. Shaving bumps can be avoided by using a new blade for every shave. Also shaving along the growth of the hair. Highly recommended is a good razor cream that is applied before shaving and a good after shave cream applied after shaving. You can speak to a pharmacist to recommend any. For bumps already formed, it's best to leave as some resolve over time. But if your friend is prone to having bumps even after applying the above method, he/she should speak to a dermatologist for further help. Hope your week is going as planned. Cheers.

Thank u very much. for your time. i appreciate everything. God bless. Apart from using it to make detox water, Can mint leave be eaten raw or cooked?
    Dr. Amen O answered:

Good evening. Is the use of mint leaves in relation to weight loss or clearing mouth odor? whichever it is, am afraid that is beyond my scope. I have no training or knowledge whatsoever on the use of mint leaf and therefore can't give any useful guide. Apart from seeing a nutritionist, your best bet may be from researching reliable articles and materials online. I believe you can get more info there. But feel free to ask any health related question, will do my best as my knowledge permits to be of help. Thank you.
