hello, have u bn diagnosed to have diabetes? if yes, then there shld be a counselling on nutrition for diabetics. You should learn to avoid sugary foods. Instead of sugar, u can take natural honey. your meals, if starchy /carbohydrate shld NOT be *large* but add more of vegetables. Fruits can be taken e. g apple as u said. Also, ur sugar level can be controlled through the use of drugs called hypoglycemic agents or injection called insulin. a close monitoring of your blood sugar and regular adjustment of ur drugs in terms of timing of doses, the dose it self if very important. attend follow ups and keep ur doctor informed of your glucose measurements. take a regular recording of it in a book. good luck.
