Good afternoon and sorry for this you going thru. Considering you have been trying to conceive, it's possible so many things happened the first time you got a +ve result. It could have been a false postive or an early miscarriage. Such could be due to chromosomal abnormalities. But I will trust what your doctor told you then since you have been seeing him and he knows you better. As for recent, you can visit your doctor and have a blood test done should incase you are already pregnant so you can be well catered for from the onset. I don't know the fertility treatment you are currently on but you should know that it's possible there be a delay and most times its not 100% but doesn't mean your body is immune to fertility drugs. Please work closely with your gynaecologist, am hoping you are seeing a reputable one, otherwise there's room for a second opinion. Wish you the best madam.
