"Hello Dr, am supposed to have a Hormonal assay test but the lab Attendant said its on the 14th day after my menses (start counting frm the 1st day of my menses)...is dis correct? and also my menstruation is very irregular and av been trying to Conceive. after the test and i get treated, will my menses become Regular? and can i now conceive because av been TTC? i want to do the test becos if i press my breast, a clear waterlike liquid comes out."

    hello,am sorry for the worries u might have bn while trying to conceive.Due to the fact that your menses is irregular, it will be difficult to say when u are likely to ovulate. Now,the watery fluid is like milk?does it flow always or around your period? if it's like milk then it's called galactorhea,assaying for the excess hormone causing this(prolactin) can be done anytime in your cycle.but that done on the 21st day(for a 28days cycle) is progesterone and estrogen.if it's for prolactin,then doing it on day 14 wldnt change anytn.then I prefer u get instructions from the gynecologist.gudluck.
