    Goodmorning, is there any associated fever? Is the baby excessively irritable? Is the baby feeding well? Cough and catarrh can just be an acute viral upper respiratory tract which will get resolved in few days and it could also be lower respiratory tract infection which might need antibiotics treatment . This can only be clarified when your baby is fully evaluated by a paediatrician. You can do a steam inhalation temporarily if your baby is having a blocked nostrils. Take care and have a nice day.
