"Good evening doctors, pls I usually have this abdominal pains like a day after having sex though I don't have discharge or feel any itches. But d pains vanishes after a week. pls could this be symptoms of PID? or wat could it be and what do I do?"

    Good evening. If there are no added symptoms like you have mentioned, I will first consider the whole sexual act as the cause of pain. Your partner thrusting maybe too deep or you may not be getting well stimulated before the act. Try going slow with reduced thrusting and make sure you are well lubricated before sex. Artificial lubricants can work fine if you don't get wet easily. Do this and see if the pain stops. If it doesn't stop, then you should see a doctor as a long standing infection can be a cause.
