Good evening. Congrats on your pregnancy. What your wife is experiencing is quite normal as most women have food aversion, nausea and vomiting and weight loss due to loss of appetite and the above listed.
Encourage her to take in enough water and fruits if that's all she can, and possibly eat whatever she can eat even in small quantity. Don't eat too much as this triggers more vomiting.
As for the weight loss don't worry baby is doing very well as this first trimester baby utilises mummies store which she will regain as soon as she gets better usually in the second trimester.
Tell her to rest a lot as much as she wants but encourage her to take a walk or do little exercise as this helps reduce the nausea and vomiting.
If symptom persists (sever vomiting), it's a condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum, please see her doctor for proper management.
Let her not forget her daily folic acid 400mcg and regular antenatal care.
