Question Asked:

"Hello Doctor, my wife of 42 years old, O+, AA, 1.8 height, and weight of about 90kg has been suffering from daily headache for not less than 5 years. She has received some treatment from a doctor before, but to no avail. She is even tired of taking panadol everyday. Some doctors conducted test on her and said she has typhoid and malaria. After she is treated, the headache recalls. Sometimes it is mild while sometimes it is depressing. What could be happening and what can we do about it?"

hello,u seem so concerned about your wife.I can relate with what she has been passing through.what part of the head actuallly aches? does it come in paroxyms like coming and lasting for hours, then leaves for a few daslys or months then returns? can she bear looking at bright light?is it associated with production of tears?the headache she has based on the prolonged duration and bn a female is likely a migraine headache.the drug used in its management(it can't be cured) is a prescription drug.pls humbly suggest it to a doctor when next u go to a hospital. let's see her response to this drug.all the best.
