"my 7 year old daughter started vomiting since 2 am. I have her Fansidar which she just vomited. She doesn't have temperature but she says she is feeling feverish. She is also complaining of stomach ache and pain in legs. she has headache. she is tired. I am not sure if I should treat her of malaria or typhoid. "

    compliments of the season. typhoid is not a disease that comes easy like that and we tend to over diagnose it.especially as she doesn't have a fever, she's not having diarrhea, nor constipation. What's her source of drinking water?I will likely lean more towards malaria. If the vomiting is persistent she will need to go to the hospital for evaluation , tests and treatment.otherwise there are better antimalarials like coartem. You can add paracetamol to that.
